can you paralel 2 or 3 of them on a new pcb made by you and find the amps you need.. all you need is paralel em i think you dont need to make em comunicate... .. even 3 of them will work cool!!! this is my thinking but the safety and stability parameters of a less experienced user isnt my concern .. its project and everything can be on table as possible solution!!!!

I don't understand if your battery is only putting out 860 Watt hours then how are you able to push 3000-4000 watts of power if the max it can push is only 900 watts? I thought what you do is you take the amp hours times the voltage and that equals the max amount of wattage that your battery can push out so say you have a 4000 Watt motor you'd have to have like a 72 volt 42AH battery. 72x42=2880watts. So even then still not 4,000 watts but see what I am saying? So like I've been having a hard time trying to find a motor that can a battery that can push out 4,400 Watts because I can't find them big enough and if I do find one big enough it's like $2,000

unfortunately although it's possible, it's just really inefficient at the moment, here's why: firstly PD only supports 100w of power max, fast for the average consumer however I personally charge at 200w, secondly, pd does not support current limiting meaning you need to add a boost converter on the output of the 20v (which isn't very efficient)
about an ebike computer: most features of such toys, such as average top speed per week 😎, are just annoying and an insult to intelligence to me. what these vehicles urgently need, however, are 1. constant monitoring of system health or failure. because every system i tried checked out in the first rain and it was a huge headaches to get the heavy bastard home, I now think mostly of multiple, entirely independent systems as well as prebuilt in checking. like some cars give you oil and water temperature (or so I believe 😌), so to quickly identify and isolate a problem. i was wondering if one could hardwire one or more of these 15 EU e bike testers permanently but I never even got one yet, so its just fantasy so far. 2. machine learning or driver training of best practices. for example, tires & batteries wear out strongest on max torque from zero, right? so it would be best to start the motor at 5 km/h, right? sth like that. just guessing. my thinking would be that, if you had a green LED in your handlebar that would be on when you are in the best long life configuration, you could learn that behavior.

here's some extra needs for German use, that i see too rarely considered. 1. invisibility. 2 or 3 high profile accidents and the law and cops will suck all the fun out of e biking. 2. no stealing design. ideally a "don't even think about it!" design. 3. balcony sun power charging for free power. old batts are not difficult to find and rejuvenate.

Ich hatte den 75100 (Kiste), welcher gottseidank abgeraucht ist. FOC Betrieb war mit meinem Gmac auch nach Wochen des rumprobierens nie richtig möglich, nur als standard BLDC und das nur mit rauhem Start. Der 75200 funktionierte direkt beim ersten Mal mit dem Gmac im FOC Modus. Er läuft sauber und die Endgeschwindigkeit scheint etwas höher, leider ist die Beschleunigung kacke. Wenn ich das Gas aufreisse fängt er an stark zu vibrieren. Die endlosen Einstellmöglichkeiten sind der Horror. xD
schlechte Beschleunigung? der ist doch mit 200a angegeben ? Oder liegt es an der Einstellung ?
you want the modded firmware for these, they may seem like they detect foc properly but they do not get realistic values out of the box, i used the Korjaa firmware instead and that makes it far more reliable on these really bad design controllers

This BMS SUCKS! Do not buy, interface is glitchy, you don't get access to parameter settings, misreads (says I have 100% charge when I'm at 20%). Customer service does not respond.
Depends on the app version you use, the old one works without an account. The new app requires a login to change parameters. Also its just guessing the SOC by voltage in the beginning, dont worry if its off by a bit. The bms is far from perfect but try finding a better one!

Looks good but I think you should've done a follow up video showing how safe the bike is ; in real life scenarios . For example a tyre blowout at speed and which wheels can sustain that force and keep you in a straight line and the BMS whats the greatest amount of shock the battery can take before cutting out because if you accidently didnt see a pothole or speed bump and the battery sustains shock it will cut out to protect its systems and if you have 50km to still go goodluck getting home before dark !

And does it come with the second seat already attached? This would be such a fun bike to ride around town. I'm also curious how the throttle is controlled? Is that attached to the wheel motor?

Haha certanly sounds like it. Nah its the badly tuned PI position controller for the id and iq flux currents. Way to much proportional gain caused these oscillations, got it a lot quieter later with some tuning :)

Hi, your explanations 👍👍in the second part of the video are fully right and important, in particular the fact that we must not press too much the electrodes for welding with these "toy-devices". It 's a very good welder for building low Amps batteries, but not more, with a little stop between each welding : if not the battery will suffer quickly , work time is very short but also very hard. For this reason 2 cells in // is a good choice, much better than only one 5A cell like in cheaper welders. Lipo batteries have a short lifetime, when used or not. So I will add a female jack connector direct on the + and - of the battery to charge with my ImaxB6 with good trickle charge at the end , (much better than these little miniaturised chargers) , and also for storage charge when not used ; we don't use these toys every day. Lot of thanks for this useful video!

Hab im Vesc Discord gelesen, dass der Makerbase MKESC 75200 (Klon vom Flipsky FSESC 75200) Probleme hat, den Phasenstrom zu messen, wodurch FOC nicht flüssig funktioniert. Ist das bei deinem Flipsky auch der Fall?
they're the same thing, FOC will work fine though usually. there's a mod you can do if you can do basic soldering on small components, which is redirecting VCC to 3.3V instead of 5V by bending the pin up etc. that will make it work even better.

Ich überlege selber, mir nen Flipsky 75100 (im Gehäuse) zu kaufen, aber bin mir noch nicht ganz sicher, da er nach ein paar Sekunden bereits überhitzt und reviews auch nicht sonderlich positiv ausfallen. Danke für das video, werde mir mal alles genau anschauen bisher macht PCB von meinem ein soliden eindruck. Ne TVS diode ist auf jedenfall drauf, das mitlerweile eigentlich Standard geworden. Ich werde in zukünftigen videos und meinem insta berichten falls was nicht gut ist. Aber wirkliche langzeit tests dauern halt.

Nein, so drastische Maßnahmen sind nicht nötig. Der controller hat überall löcher, wasser kommt also ohne extra gehäuse überall rein und raus. Daher reicht es den PCB zu coaten. Nehme da immer so conformal PCB coating. Den kann man zur not sogar wieder weglöten

Well you can imagine it like this: lets say you have a multimeter, depending on how you connect it to a battery, your multimeter will either show a positive or a negative voltage. Same here, the graph shows the voltage that the motor wires will see. And since we use half bridges, the connection can be either way across them.
Thanks Leo. You inspired me to get into e-bikes! I thought the output to the motor doesn't alternate between positive and negative. So technically it's not AC!
The motor is a blDC motor
It switches each phase wire between positive then negative so that wire pulls on the next magnet then switches to push from the last one so you get twice as much work out of the motor.since all three phase wires are doing this in Rotation. So yes technically it is three phase ac its just controlled by the mosfets.these motors are not a regular dc motors.a dc motor can be hooked directly to the battery and will run either direction depending on how you hook the positive and negative to it.these motors will not function with out a controller.there are three power wires going into them.each one alternates between positive and negative.people should know what they are talking about,before they act like they know what they are talking about.keep up the videos man dont let these karens discourage you from trying to get knowledge to the people.

Yes, RPMs will be a bit higher and in some cases higher efficency because of lower switching losses.
